Which grip did Vernon and Miller favour for bottom dealing.

Miller was familiar with "card table performing" so which grip did he use?

There's a section in The Man Who Was Erdnase (by Whaley, Gardner, Busby) on a Charlie Miller subtlety for getting in and out of the Erdnase grip for bottom dealing. (pages 247-250). So it would seem that's what he used, at least some of the time.

Also, there's apparently a motion picture (1940) of him demoing this technique.
