I believe the item is "Duschek's Ringer." I am not familiar with it, only that it is reel-free and has received lots of praise for its effectiveness. --Asrah

John, Steve's latest was called Ringer but he has an earlier very good one maybe called Ringed? I use both and also Eric Mason's Magnifique, an extinct Repro DI, mentionedin his book though with a convoluted routine. WHEN we get together I can show you but Jack Avis' notebooks have taken up my time. Send me a PM with your 'phone number if you wish to speak about it.

For sure check out Porpers (Biro showed Reed and I -- It is awesome.)

Also, is the Collectors Workshop "Morrelli (sp)Ring" I've used it with-out fail 4 or five times a night during my recent gig.

I've got thrre of them just in case. I asked Nick to make me another gimmick as a back-up.

Gaeton Bloom has an excellent no-reel Ring Flight.

My own no-reel Ring Flight is in my One-Man Parade a few years back. Changes the effect slightly -- the ring appears in a film cannister set on the table, rather than in your key ring. If you're interested I'll email it to you.

Supreme Magic put out RINGON RINGON _Richard Marks. Instructions by Lewis Ganson. Pretty nifty and nicely routined. There may be one out there

In case you haven't heard enough good things about "just a case/key" I'll chime in. It KILLS!!! The usual reaction I get is "WHAT THE F@$#." That's about the best reaction I can think of. As long as it's not at a kiddie party.

How do you pronounce that??? :D

BTW... for a mere $89 we (Porper and I) are about to release the "plastic water bottle cap INTO the bottle."

It is a killer folding plastic bottle cap. Not like a folding coin, totally different design/construction.

Doc Eason already has one and Dean Dill gets his tomorrow!

I have, and use, Steve's 'Ringer' and it is quite brilliant. I would say it is the best on the market. It looks like something you would have on you and the secret is hidden in full view.

Gaeton Bloom has a great non-reel version for ring flight. It's called "Flying Ring".

I posted two easy methods here some time ago, but I guess the Chief Genii realized that I was teaching complete methods and zapped the post and the positive responses to it by Pete Biro and others.

I apologize to Richard for letting my 30 years of teaching get the best of me and putting full methods into a post. Sometimes my teaching chops get in the way...

Anyway, if you are interested in my close-up and stage methods of non-reel ring flight, email me.
