Magi takes two cards, writes a prediction on the face of each, puts one face down on the left, one face down on the right. Magi spreads deck face-up. A spectator is given a free choice of a card, change your mind if you want, etc. The card is dropped face up onto one of the face down predictions. This procedure is repeated with another spectator, with the selection dropped face up onto the second prediction. Turn over the cards and the ones touched by spectators match the predictions written on the lower cards.

There's no reason that I know of why there are two selections. Could be one selection, could be several.

But when I bought it (about 30 years ago), yes, it used two selections.
