in a flash problem

Postby Countelmsley » November 29th, 2005, 4:34 pm

I' ve been using Sankey' s "In a flash" a lot. Great reaction, minimal handling. Dont we love Flash?

But pretty much all the important cards are now a bit "burned" because everytime I do the effect, the top card gets burned by the paper and I then bury it to the bottom. But I do the effect at least 10 times a night so now after a few weeks, the sides of the cards are getting darker and it shows and I dont like it one bit.

Anybody else has the same problem? Maybe I could get a deal from the supplier if I buy a whole bunch of those cards?

Hi Seb,

I have the same problem. After a while the sides of the gimmicks will trun brown. Luckily, I bought several back ups. I would suggest the following: Get some more from Jay Sankey, or I will still use the browned cards, no one has noticed. But I would prefer to use new ones. The issue I have is that Sankey no longer makes the cards with the perfectly round hole, rather he has the hole "jagged". I prefer the look of the older ones. I have contacted a company that can punch holes in packs the size neede. Email me for details.

Hope this helps.
