Large close up pad ?

Postby Thomas Van Aken » April 5th, 2004, 1:55 am

Hi,
I am looking for a very large good quality close up pad (30 * 25 inch or more).
Do anyone know if pads of this size are manufactured and where is it possible to find them ?
Thanks a lot.
Thomas

I agree. Dean's pads are the best on the market. The are velvet over a stiff board. Lovely to work on.

If you want a pad that is not stiff, you can go to a scuba dive shop and buy wetsuit material. The one in my town has rolls of it - different thicknesses and textures. LOTS less expensive than magic store varieties and you can have it cut to your specifications.

Jeff, Dan and Jeff,
Thanks a lot for your input.
I will investigate the wetsuit material solution at first.
Cheers.
Thomas
