Shall we change?

Postby Brad A._dup1 » September 5th, 2001, 2:24 am

I have the solution to the problem we've all argued about, the problem we aren't sure how to solve.

Shall we keep the forum as it is, in this "reverse" order? Or shall we go back to the old way?

Since there is no real way for everyone to be happy, we'll go to the best system!
DEMOCRACY

Thus, I implore everyone on the forum to vote at our small "Genii Poll"

Brad:

I'm afraid the hyperlink to voting isn't terribly clear (at least it wasn't to me). Those wanting to express their preference should read Brad's original posting in this thread and click on "click here to vote" in that message. It will take you to an automated poll on this topic.

Why not scramble the responses? That way it's a challange.

Here's the link again for everyone.

Try the poll:

That may help some of the folks who don't want to scroll down to the bottom.

has everyone voted yet..?

So far the "old way" is winning... but the new way is catching up straight behind it at 30%.

This is only 59 votes!

As a reminder, if you haven't voted for the way the forum should be displayed, you better do it quick.

Here are the results as of Friday, at 6:17 pm, PST.

Put it back! (54 votes) 60.00%
I like it now (reverse)!! (32 votes) 35.56%
I don' care (4 votes) 4.44%

You know, this wouldn't be an issue if the forum software could be configured to make display order a user-settable option...
