I have been practising my Mercury Card Fold technique. I've gone through over 100 cards, and I reckon I'll get it another 200 to 300 cards. So my question is - what can I do with 300 odd quarter folded cards?
Cheers,
Stuart

Re: Mercury Card Fold
Here's a suggestion. An old friend of mine who has since fallen out of magic used this gag to great effect: He'd take about 30 folded cards, put a paper clip on each one to keep it folded, and then put them all in his two front jacket pockets.
At the start of his show, he'd take one out, and lay it on the table.
"Think of any card." The speckie does so. Whatever card they say, look annoyed, then grab a handful of cards from each pocket, toss them on the table, saying "I know I'll get it one of these days..."
And yes, this does get a laugh.

Re: Mercury Card Fold
Save them for any of those torn and restored cards trick that use folded up duplicates.
Also check out Pat Trick's Corperate Punishment. He does a cool invisible deck that uses 13 folded cards.

Re: Mercury Card Fold
Throw them away. If it only cost you six decks of cards to perfect the move, it was worth it. Toss 'em. While you're at it, get rid of some of your magic books as well. Less books = More focus.
