"FLIM-FLAM" MOVES TO GENII

Postby Bob Farmer » October 15th, 2002, 6:20 pm

THE WAY OF THE SCAMURAI
BOB FARMER'S "FLIM-FLAM" COLUMN MOVES TO GENII

As many of you know, I haven't been operating out of Las Vegas for quite some time. After I failed to find financing for my bank machine scam, somebody tipped LVPD about the outstanding warrants from Idaho and the town just wasn't mine anymore. Credit cards with other guys' names on them are getting harder to find these days, so when Genii offered a way in from the cold I saw a way to finally kiss off Bubbles and Bambi (the two chicks from Izzy's Boom Boom Room who'd been taking up all my time) and make tracks for DC. (B & B, if you're reading this, I'm sorry about scooping your cash stash from the stuffed bear).

So come the January 2003 Genii, look for an absolutely foolproof Blackjack scam that'll more than pay all those Xmas credit card bills.

Looking forward to the "new" column, Bob.
All I have to say, what's next? Stan's "In Their Own Words"?
(Just kidding)
Genii is now the only monthly that I get by mail every month! Keep up the good work, guys.

I've been working on a whole series of Blackjack scams and tricks for Flim-Flam with the help of one Harry The Cat (actually, Harry's been doing all the work).

Included will be a Blackjack deal along the lines of the Ten Card Poker Deal and the very best full-deck blackjack stack ever devised (Harry The Cat has worked on this for over a year using the massive computing power at his disposal).

All of this starts in the February Genii (I think, but check with RK).

Bob sometimes sends me stuff he's working on, usually concealed in code as part of blackmail notes, and I've got to tell you the Blackjack Deal is amazing stuff. I've just begun playing around with this and the potentials are enormous. Bob tells me he's been exploring this as well and I am really looking forward to the resurrected Flim-Flam in Genii.

Whit, Matthew Field has always inspired confidence in me.

Thus, Matthew Field has inspired confidence in you.

With this revelation, I suspect you may want to sit down and take a long, hard shot of bourbon.

I am going to read Vernon's "Revelations" and take a long, hard shot of bourbon as well.

Bourbon is okay, but coming from Tennessee, I would highly recommend a sour mash whiskey.

The greatest liars in history have all come from Tennessee without exception. They all drank sour mash whiskey, except Andy Jackson who drank Wild Turkey and never told a lie in his life.

Thanks for the confidence, men.

Al Gore is from Tennessee.

Bill Mullins (who, although born in Kentucky, is a Tennessean through and through)

I had the privilege and joy to talk at length with Bob Farmer about flimming and flamming and his new column. He has some great stuff coming...plus several other surprise projects. All this and Bob actually has a real life, as well...

Onward...

Gee -- A lawyer who is an expert on scams and cons
- What a stretch!

I love reading the "FLIM-FLAM" and glad to see it continued

My brother is an entertainment lawyer (he wrote THE book on entertainment contract law) so that doesn;t impress me. I just want to know who has the longer "record", you or a mentalist ex-lawyer who shall not be named here. In all sincerity Bob, it IS nice to see that you will now be in Genii each month but just an extra aside, civilized men drink "scotch" not bourbon! :-P
