Conveyor Belt

Postby David Acer » July 8th, 2005, 2:02 pm

I've said this elsewhere on the forum but it bears repeating - be sure to check out Pete McCabe's CONVEYOR BELT on page 33 of this month's issue (July, 2005). At barely half a page, and with no illustrations to catch the eye, it's easy to overlook, but it also happens to be THE most commercial no-palm card-to-pocket routine I have ever seen!

David--Are you still making new Mystery Hunters? My daughter loves your show!

(sorry for interupting this thread, but I thought it would be the best way to get your attention)

Hi Warlockdrummer,

Both the British and Canadian Broadcasters (Discovery Kids U.K. and YTV Canada respectively)have agreed to a third season. They are currently negotiating financial terms with the production company.

And now, back to Conveyor Belt...

I'm just chiming in to say I've seen Pete perform "Conveyor Belt" several times, and I've always been struck by its clever construction and Pete's unique thinking. A very commercial, magical routine.
