Anyone try this yet? I just scanned and printed it out. I've only tried it once so far and it worked great!!!

I've tried it and it's a killer. That Farmer guy is too much.

I love it.

I did end up making some actual card circles, photographing them, then printing them out (on regular paper), because I preferred the way an actual photo looks to what was in the magazine. It was probably unnecessary, but oh well.

Regardless, I've tried it out twice and got great responses both times.

He may be clever, but he is not an attractive man. That photo could haunt a house!

Okay, it's not me. It is a very famous thief. This is his booking photo.

That's kinda like Mozart using Beethoven's photo. :)

Is it Kenton Knepper?

I don't know this "Kenton Knepper" guy. There is guy that I refer to as Klepto Kipper (which is Canadian for "taker of fishing strategy"), but the picture is not of this person.

Originally, I wanted to use the FBI sketch of D.B. Cooper, the plane-highjacking thief who bailed out with millions of dollars and was never found, but Mr. Kaufman didn't care for that idea (there are rumours Mr. Kaufman is D.B. Cooper).

Here's a hint: Peter Falk played the guy in a movie about a heist.

I'll guess Tony "Fats" Pino of the 1950 Great Brinks Robbery.

Abe "Kid Twist" Reles (1906 12 November 1941) was an American mobster who was probably the most feared hitman in the stable of Murder, Inc., the enforcement arm of the National Crime Syndicate.

Here are two things you need to know about Tony Pino--he was
"a monumental talker-and liar."
and he wasn't full time in robbery, more like a part-time pro:

In the Brink's robbery and in all the thieving that preceded it, the crooks worked very hard. Often they held full-time jobs (frequently under parole pressure) and stole after hours. Tony Pino especially spent exhaustive hours watching, exploring, following Brink's trucks, testing alarm systems, stealing keys. It wasn't laziness that turned them to what my Aunt Gertrude used to call a life of crime. It was the money. And the fun.[ A Crook\'s-Eye View of the Caper, By Robert B. Parker, New York Times, May 22, 1977]
