The British publishing firm Express Publishing
(http://www.expresspublishing.co.uk) is including a section on
entertainers with a difference and they feature magician
DAVID COPPERFIELD. Other entertainer with a difference they will includein their reading section are Charlotte Church (welsh opera singer), Mika Fromm (german female juggler) and Jim Hennson (deceased pupeteer). They have chosen people who are very special in their field.

The book is called Wishes for those students who want to sit the FCE exam, that is an exam issued by Cambridge ESOL. The exam
consists of various parts one of them being Reading. In this reading section Ss should read information about four different people or places etc who bear some similarities and then answer 14 questions. Express Publishing feels they want their students to read about people whose lifestyles have values to teach them. as their motto is not only teach students English but also give them "food for thought" .

Thanks for posting about this-- I'm fascinated by Copperfield, and this WISHES book is an interesting example of how famous he is, and it is great to see that the context for it is so positive.
