Hi Folks,
Someone mentioned a routine setup where you get a volunteer to hold up a c/s gaff for a photo - they see one coin and the picture later shows another. At that moment the volunteer is looking at one face of the gaff but the audience and photographer see the other face.
This was mentioned with reference to Tannen's a while back and perhaps a scotch and soda handling.
Whose routine is this?
Thanks in advance,
JonT

Check out "Coin on Call" by Aljaz Son in Magic August 2011, page 66.
Josh states: "We tip our hats to Michael Weber, who used the camera phone in a similar way and for a similar purpose but with a different effect. Weber's effect used playing cards"
EFFECT: The performer borrows a penny from a spectator and then photographs the spectator holding her penny. After changing the penny into a dime, the performer points out that the coin in the photo has also changed into a dime

Thanks Joe, looks like a fun routine to do with a volunteer who offers use of a smartphone.
