75th convention for Houdini Club of Wisconsin - Labor Day

The Houdini Club of Wisconsin is celebrating its 75th convention this coming Labor Day weekend, in Middleton, Wisconsin. Great lectures, two public shows, stage and close-up and escape contests with cash prizes, free Saturday evening party and Sunday awards banquet. Where? Convention headquarters is at the Middleton Marriott Hotel; and the shows will be at the nearby Middleton Performing Arts Center, only one mile from the hotel.

Hotel only costs $89 per night (negotiated rate for Houdini Club). Reservations for hotel: call 1-888-745-2032.

When? August 30, 2013 through September 1, 2013

Non-members: $140.00 each Juniors (under 16): $95.00 each

I thought that scrunching all that information on to one post would be too difficult to read. And that the spacing allowed via separate posts would make it easier on the reader, to capture each thought and consider each point better.

- The Reed Sisters (illusions, comedy, dance, drama)
- Keith Fields (comedy magician and motivational speaker)
- Danny Orleans (see Genii Magazine cover, March 2013)
- David Kovac (vaudevillian, comedy magician)
- The Balsters (family magic and fun for all)
- Trent James (1st place at Abbotts, Intl Battle, etc)

The Houdini Club has also added John Hopkins to its line-up of great talent! Convention is now less than thirty days away. First activities begin on Friday, August 30th. Convention History Books will be given to the first 100 registrations (one per family). Many contests and prizes as well. Hope to see you there!
