Could someone tell me when did they give out the bonus W.C.? I don't remember ever getting it although I joined later at the 3rd issue, I think.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
It was in one of your envelopes. It was a small, think WC in a clear plastic envelope, small and easy to miss. Have you kept everything? Go back and look through all your envelopes: it's probably in the bottom of one of them. I can't remember the month.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
None of this stuff is a bonus; these are your purchased goods. You received the item because you paid for it.
It was in #7, the one given away at the Genii bash and the only one that came in a larger envelope. The item is tiny and easy to miss. I discovered mine wedged down in the corner of the envelope. I never saw it before today.
Karl Fulves encloses a packing list with Prolix. Real Secrets might want to do the same, since due to their delayed revelations and information blackout, props absent from mis-packed envelopes may not be recognized until months later.

Ted, while we had a gift from Real Secrets in the convention Gift Bag, I don't recall this item being given away. Was it done at the party? I couldn't stay until the end.

Representatives of RS went around handing out things. Ted may have gotten the WC; someone else may gave gotten a different thing.
Is this what happened?

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Sorry, I wasn't clear.
The WC was shipped out to subscribers in the same mailing envelope as the larger-dimensioned red/black item which, a few weeks later, was separately given away in the Genii gift bag.
(I'm trying to tell Jackie which envelope to look in. Look in the big envelope!)

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
I had a problem printing out the instructions for the new effect until I realized that Firefox now has a built in PDF reader that does not allow you to open the document in Acrobat. The Firefox reader printed a blank document with the Real Secrets heading. I changed the settings so that Adobe now opens any PDF document. If you are having this problem, this link helped solve the issue

Look in the envelopes postmarked May and September (I think) for the required items.

I must've missed something. On the 4th line of the other new item, there is reference to something that is "included". Has anyone received that yet?

Re: the item for this month's bonus.
Weber detailed a use for this at Blackpool last weekend. Given that the original was given out in the envelope for October, and Weber was slated to lecture there, it makes sense that the idea was to detail its use then. Medicine, however, got in the way...

And... FWIW... I just received the latest installment this afternoon.
Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Mine arrived yesterday as well, along with a yet to explained bonus. Members should check the website. In addition to the 3 new postings, there is a new (limited supply) item available under the Products link.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
When I referred to 3 new things, I was referring to:
1. The routine with the two items sent previously.
2. The routine that uses one of the things that came in the mail.
3. The limited edition offering sold separately.
Did I miss one?
Also, I wonder if printing our own instructions for the feature effect is the new normal now.

If you weren't at Blackpool, and you're a Weber fan and a member of Real Secrets, you'll want to get over to the website pretty quickly.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Sometimes Real Life interferes and not everyone can go play hide and seek to hunt down their paid-for materials on a website within a limited time window before they're deleted.
When I subscribed the advertising read: "Imagine never-before-seen miracles delivered every month directly to your mailbox."
Leaving aside (a) "never-before-seen" and (b) "miracles", what happened to (c) "delivered directly to your mailbox"?

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Well Ted, if it's such a problem for you and/or if it's not good enough for you, quit. But please quit bitching about it here as it's growing quite tiresome.
Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Perhaps Real Secrets could set up their own forum where it's members could discuss its quirks, features and routines. Constantly reading about it here is growing quite tiresome.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
That's easy Q: Just don't read these clearly labeled RS threads. But it's difficult to avoid seeing posts by people with bones to pick intrude on threads for those who enjoy discussing RS, unless they are politely asked to stop. (I have no problem with the negative comments going on in the current thread about renewing. That's where it should be done; just not in the threads for the monthly updates, which is what this is.)
Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Dustin,
The very reason why RS should have its own forum. Considering that RS is supposed to be secret, it's members should have their own private forum to discuss their monthly goodies.
Discussing RS in a general way is fair enough.
Otherwise it would be like starting a new topic every month to discuss the current contents of MAGIC Magazine or The Crimp.

I agree, Real Secrets should have its own Forum. They won't do it. Hence the mess.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
I like it when someone posts when new stuff is on the RS website since I'd rather not miss them. FWIW, receiving the RS envelope in the mail is a timely reminder to look on the site. (However, I think that emailed reminders from RS would be more optimal.)
That said, I'm not interested in every thread at GF, but I'm glad they exist for those that are.

Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Even if RS had its own forum, people would still be posting here about RS, just not in detail. And we DO have a forum here for other publications.
Re: Real Secrets - New Stuff 2-28-13
Does anyone know when members who joined at the very beginning will receive their bonus 13th item for year one? I really wonder if it will be different than what we are used to receiving...

Yes, it will be different than the usual item. It will be sent with the first item from year 2.

There was a note in this month's offering confirming it will arrive next month.

The RS team allowed me to peek at some of the items which will be coming out in year two. I was very impressed--even better than year one!
