Bearded Lady
Julia Pastrana was a Mexican Bearded Lady in the mid 19th century (also known as the Bear Woman). She died of complications from childbirth in 1860. After she died, her husband preserved her body and that of her baby and toured and exhibited them in freak shows. She was buried last Tuesday at her birthplace in Mexico.

Re: Bearded Lady
I read about that: her husband was a real turd. Can you imagine touring with the stuffed bodies of your wife and your child and charging for admission? Horrible.

The husband's legacy continues: see any reality TV show.
