Wild about Margery

Postby JohnCox » January 14th, 2013, 1:44 pm

Anna Thurlow, the great-granddaughter of Mina Crandon aka "Margery the Medium", has graciously allowed me to share several original and unique items related to Houdini and Margery from her own private family archives -- the Libbet Crandon de Malamud Collection -- on my Houdini blog. These items have only ever been seen by a select handful of people, and have certainly never been posted on the internet. I'm honored and thrilled that Anna has chosen my blog to share these treasures with the magic world.

I'll be posting something new each day this week as "The Margery Files." First installment is below. Hope you enjoy!

I've concluded my special week-long Margery celebration with a "bonus" interview with Anna Thurlow herself. Great week. Record traffic. Lots of cool stuff (revealing Margery's actual seance kimono was the "grand finale"). You can click back into each installment at the end of the interview post. Thank you Anna!
