Re: Some real magic secrets
There are different types of "real" secrets. For example, there are half a dozen people who know how the Hooker Rising Cards work, because it has been recreated and performed. But they're keeping their mouths shut! :)
That's different than the author of Expert.
The publisher of the centennial edition of Expert has to be known to a few people, but they're also keeping their mouths shut.
What auction do you refer to with number 4?

Re: Some real magic secrets
Someone bought Hilliard's notebooks at auction, and then allowed you to publish them. (and if I'm oversimplifying events, forgive me)
The list was simply a few items about magic that I don't know, and that I don't expect ever to know. Just a conversation starter.

Re: Some real magic secrets
The fellow who bought them at auction (unknowingly) is now deceased. His name was Bob Keyser. Nice guy, but reclusive.
We purchased them from him to publish, and then sold them to a place where they'll be safe for the future.
Bill, I think that in the future, more about all of these things will be revealed. Just look at what you've helped me with regarding DeLand! Who would have thought that so much is about to be revealed there.
