Real Secrets - October Bonus
The bonus item for October is now on-line, courtesy of Karl Fulves. Very nice!

Thanks for the note, Evan. It's the least exciting thing they've given us because it's just a reprint of a previously-published item though.

I was waiting for them to start re-hashing old things. Took less time than I expected. The pressure of having to create something new each month is massive. I would have thought they'd have at least 12 in the bag prelaunch though.

They do. This isn't the main release, but the bonus routine.

Yes, just a secondary item. They actually have no need to rehash any old material--lots of new stuff already manufactured on hand and waiting to be mailed. I think this particular item of Fulves's must have struck the fancy of one of the RS team. And, even though it is a reprint, very few people have the item in which it originally appeared, "Swindle Sheet."

Not just a reprint. The instructions apply it to the October RS release item. So you get to use the October 'stuff' in yet one more way (as opposed to the 'stuff' used in the 'reprint')

Oh--I didn't read it that closely yet. Thanks, Craig, for clarifying.

No kool-aide. This is real, practical stuff. An entire show can be had and self-contained in one's wallet. There is also the interesting quality of most of them being tiny blueprints for bigger audiences if one uses one's head and a kinkos.

Clarification: Effects relegated into the category of micro-magic can often be given the Alice treatment and be made to play for a larger audience. A few RS props (with a bit of imagineering) are in essence small prototypes for larger props.
