Hi
I just downloaded T.E.A.T.C.T. from the Harry Houdini collection, meaning, that this book belonged to HH himself.
In the first page of the book (the "frontispice"?) at the side of Erdnase's name, is written in pencil "Samuel Roberts". Also, the "S" and "W" are crossed in pencil, and under the two "E's" of Erdnase there is a mark in pencil.
Does this means that Houdini wrote the identity of Erdnase??

Those pencil markings were almost certainly written by a clerk at the Library of Congress when the book was cataloged there, with information taken from the apparently erroneous 1904 Drake catalog. But one of the Houdini experts might want to take a look, as Houdini's handwriting is well known. If he made the notation, that would be interesting...

Yeah ! You are very true ! I also believe that Houdini himself wrote the identity of Erdnase.
