Jonathan Pendragon busy time

Postby Jonathan Pendragon » September 8th, 2012, 5:46 am

I know this is a little irregular, please forgive the intrusion.
Next week I am presenting the entire show in the Palace at the Magic Castle. The week after that I am getting married to West McDonough. The week after that I am heading to Orlando for the Bash! The week after that I am having a nervous breakdown.

Next week I'm going to sit in a 6-foot by six-foot cubical (which is in a room with no windows and only one door) Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm (or so) cranking out a space-to-sales report on Clumping Cat Litter at a majot US grocery chain, along with all the sales other monthly reports that are due. The week after that I am going back to that cubical to do more of the same. Then I get to go work the Bash!

Care to trade schedules?

I sit at my computer writing material on magic, which I love (but which pays almost nothing). (Or exactly nothing.). Next week I am off for 4 days vacation to Ghent, Belgium. I can fart around as much as I want.

This is because I am old.

Care to trade?

Jonathan, you're going to have a great time at the Castle, a great wedding to a lovely lady, and a great time in Orlando. Think of it this way: this month is the start of the rest of your life.

That will have to be the greatest honeymoon ever. Four days at the bash! Congratulations, Mr. Pendragon.

Thank You
I just did a pod cast with Damian Jennings about the Bash! It's hard not to make what you say about the event sound like hyperbole and yet to me it feels like understatement. I am so looking forward to this. FYI I just launched my new website: JonathanPendragon.net.

I don't know how but for once in my life the stars have aligned perfectly: I'll have the pleasure of seeing Jonathan at the Castle and at the Bash!

But I have to say that I have been especially looking forward to seeing him take over the entire show in the Palace of Mystery ever since I found out when his name first appeared on the Castle's schedule a few weeks ago.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to say hello and pass along my congratulations to him regarding his wedding in person while I'm there.

Jonathan even took out the time to record an interview with me for the Genii Bash Podcast last night (see other thread I just posted for episode one!).

Saw Jonathan at The Castle last night and it was great!

Excellent performance that connected with the audience...they were EXCITED by his show. A number of people stood and applauded during the show, not just at the end.

I heard people as they exited, saying things like, "That was phenomenal!"
Magicians talking about it afterwards were excited for Jonathan by what they saw him do.

Jonathan has IT, and it got over to the audience.

I saw your show (JP) last night. This is "the resurection"-- OUTSTANDING IN MANY WAYS... Magical, funny, witty, intellectual and a fooler... Three of the PERFECT co-performers. Good on you olde pal.
Stay tooned.

Hey Jonathan.
Firstly congratulations on the marriage, I hope you have many happy years together.
I was watching the videos you posted on your website and was amazed! I have absolutely no idea how the effects were done especially the motorcycle effect (which blew my mind) and frankly I don't want to know.
The feeling I got watching the outcome of these amazing feats is the feeling that I aspire to deliver to people who watch my magic.
You are an inspiration to me and I want to thank you.

Yours sincerely.
Neil.
Regards.
Neil.
