looking for info on a close up trick

Postby Bill Reader » April 24th, 2012, 7:51 pm

It was late 80's, I used to have a trick I think it was called skeletennie the bonafied magician? Can anybody shed some light on this trick. The effect was I think, the skeleton did a pick and find a card trick, smoked similar to the smoking dog trick that is all I remember about it. I want to say I got it out in California at a magic shop.

Thanks

Skeletini was put out by Daniel Cros, a professional magician in Las Vegas.

I don't think many were made. I used to have one ... someplace. I don't think Daniel has sold them for many years.

Bill - I was alerted by my friend, Charlie Frye, that you had made an inquiry via this forum about Skeletini. The gentleman who made the Skeletini bodies for me died several years ago, and though easy to make, doing the bodies myself was too time consuming, so I later released "Dead Ringer".....Skeletini's "half brother". Dead Ringer was just Skeletini without the body.....in other words, just a head. Did all of the same "tricks"...minus the dancing, of course. I sold Dead Ringer in a package that included the original instruction book for Skeletini and also a to-scale template for anyone who wanted to make the Skeletini body themselves. I still have some Dead Ringers in stock. Sells for $20, which includes p&h. If you're interested, you can contact me at croswords@embarqmail.com. Best Regards, DANIEL CROS
