Re: BEST Self Working Card Trick with No Setup / Gimmicks
I use two self working/ semi automatic card tricks.
both require a setup however I'm mentioning one of them here because I am aware of a method of doing it without a setup.
Mockingbird by Max Maven. It requires a full deck stack, however it is (in my opinion) completely worth it.
Mick Ayres published a method not requiring a stack in one of his "Acts" manuscripts. The effect was called Hummingbird and i believe it is in Predictabilities. Although it is different in both method and effect, he presents it using Mavens presentation for Mockingbird.
I think the presentation is what makes both of these effects stand out.
In case any one is interested, the other self working/semi auto trick i perform is Neither Blind Nor Stupid by Tamariz.
