Your Deceptive Mind

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

You can save $35 on the DVD version by entering the priority code 64755 when you check out. For an even greater bargain, you can get Arthur Benjamin's 12 Lecture course Secrets of Mental Math on 2 DVDs for just $9.95 (plus shipping) if you start at this page:

Thanks for the heads-up on the promo code Mr. Hatch. I just picked-up the Deceptive Mind on MP3 audio download for $18 bucks.

I've always enjoyed these courses. They come in handy during long road trips (such as the one I will be taking next weekend for the Michael Weber workshop in Kansas).

The Great Courses has a pretty good customer service ethic: If you don't like what you buy, they will exchange it for another one or your money back, no questions asked. Pretty hard to beat. Hope you have as much fun with this company as I have. Cheers Gents!

So will this be called iPad 3 or just 'the new iPad'?

Doesn't appear to have much in the way of additional features.

I've just purchased the 9.95 downloads too.

(Don't worry Mr L, I already have a copy of MW)

All I wanted was retina display, and I got it. More dots per inch than high end print mags, in fact, more than a 27" iMac

That sold me alone

Is it on the Great Courses site? I couldn't find it there.

Shows you how much they know! I don't list them on my site either.

I have the book, but it seemed like Harry was suggesting it was on the Great Courses site (which was the link in question).

Nope, never suggested that, nor would I. I don't want my stuff selling for $9.95. (If I can help it.)
