Suspensions and "Planking"

Postby Dustin Stinett » February 2nd, 2012, 10:16 pm

Thanks to Jeopardy, Vanna White, and Google I now know what "planking" is. I'm wondering if there are any performers out there using this fad as a presentation for a suspension such as the Chair Suspension.

NIce idea, but the planking thing stopped being done/funny about a year ago.

Owl-ing replaced it, briefly, then cone-ing

Sheesh...I had to Google those too. Found "batting" too (because owling is "SO two weeks ago").

I give up.

I believe the line was "That (yellow leather) jacket is so too weeks ago." also parodied in South Park with the Japanese culture references in one episode.

Anyway, it's a movie reference. Interesting to see adults picking up that stuff from characters in a teen movie.

And I believe that the latest, greatest is (or was) Tebowing - It's impossible for me to keep up. (Hope I got the name right... Tebow? Teabow? Oh well.)

I think you mean tea bagging.

I am absolutely certain he didn't mean tea bagging.

Damian, just saw your response and spewed a little coffee through my nose. I definitely did not mean tea bagging. At least I don't think I did... But who knows, you may well have named the next big meme. Can't you just see it now? Lakes, rivers, public fountains, baptismal fonts...
