Instructional DVD for Miser's dream?

Postby Umpa Duze » August 30th, 2011, 2:04 am

Hi All,
A part of my show calls for a Miser's Dream effect with about ten coins produced from the kids in the audience as "tax." I suffer from some arthritis in my hands and this limits the range of techniques I can use. I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a DVD which illustrates a wide range of techniques for this specific effect. Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks,
Umpa Duze

Check out Levent's "Ultimate Guide to the Miser's Dream."

Another Master has a DVD out on Manipulation and the DVD has a section on the Miser's dream. I don't have it but it could teach you a thing or two, hopefully some easy stuff you might use.

Here's a link.

I hope it proves useful.

Levent's dvd set will give you more than enough material to evaluate the different routines and develop your own.

Another thought is that there is a good routine in BOBO's Coin Magic using a coin wand and tray.

It might be an option if dexterity is a problem.

Hi All,
I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the Levent's DVD. It is just the sort of straight forward presentation of the options in producing the Miser's Dream that I needed. Thanks again to everyone for their help.

Glad to help. It's the most comprehensive source I've seen, and Levent is a great teacher.
