I've read about this routine but have never seen it. I'd like to purchase it, with the prop, if anyone has it.
Thanks!
Phil

The prop is a simple hexaflexagon. Watching Frank Garcia do this up at Tannen's magic shop was a delight. His timing on the jokes was great.

It's not a hexaflexagon. It's a tetraflexagon.

Re: Looking for Farky Hollis Predicts
I sent this information to Mr. Pearce in response to a private message, but then remembered that there had been trouble with that part of the Genii website. So, in case my reply was lost, here's the info:
You can find photos of the Farky Hollis trick in its various stages here: http://plaza.harmonix.ne.jp/~k-miwa/mag ... farky.html
The text is in Japanese, but the photos need no translation.

Re: Looking for Farky Hollis Predicts
Thanks for all of your help. I have been able to obtain an original of this effect, complete with instructions and the prop. After further research, I have discovered that the proper topological name for the prop is a tetratetraflexagon. Mr. Maven's directions to the Japanese site was very helpful in visualizing the sequence and nature of the reveals. Even with the directions, it takes a knack.
I would think that this effect might be very popular in Japan, not only because of the effect itself but also because of the Japanese penchant for things folded. ?
Thanks again to everyone.

And for those who want to see how the tetratetraflexagon is made that is used in Farky Hollis Predicts (the Schillinger/Garcia trick):
