They are all good (though I haven't seen Prophet). You can make your life simpler by just doing the original: Pat Page's "Flash Cash."

Richard,

Wasn't "Flash Cash" a Fred Kaps thing? I know that Pat did something that I think he called "Easy Money," or something like that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's Pat's trick. Kaps did a version of it.

Here is a link to the forums at Penguin Magic where someone dissects the whole thing:

Okay, Richard ... I do see what you mean. I guess it gets back to whether the Kaps "improvement" is sufficient to justify substantial development credit. You are quite correct (according to your cited Penguin Magic link) that the general effect (named "Easy Money") is Pat's. But the superior method (even according to Pat) as well as the name "Flash Cash," is Fred's.

Again, as you note, it was Pat who created the basic effect.

Thanks much,
Jack

Kaps' IMPROVEMENT was just a half-inch overlap so you could grip he ends easier. If you see R. Paul Wilson do this you wouldn't waste any money on all the "new improved" versions.

As I have said, "If it was good enough for Kaps, it's good enough for me."
Stay tooned.

How practical are the versions where you get a second or third change from the bill packet?

This trick seems old.
Kaps Lecture Notes are published in 1973 and the first reference of Easy Money in Genii is in July 1976.
Who knows when Page created his trick?

There's also another recent, very similar effect called Handout 500.
