Do you know the Hugard's bottom palm?

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

Do you know the Hugard's bottom palm?

Postby Philippe Noël » December 11th, 2010, 5:10 am

In Expert Card Technique P.60, Braue writes "Up to the present time there have been only three methods of palming the bottom card of any value to card manipulators, the Erdnase, Hofzinser and Hugard methods."
Do you know where the Hugard's method is described?

I'd assume it is The Bottom Palm Simplified in More Card Manipulations 4.

I am not sure because ECT was published in 1940 and More Card Manipulations 4 in 1941.

Yes but Braue known Hugard BEFORE 1941.

I don't understand why Braue doesn't speak about Hoffmann, Hatton & Plate, Buckley regarding the bottom palm...
