Jack Parker's Traveling without Moving

Good Day! I have rediscovered the June 2006 Magicana section. That issue was fantastic by the way. I am working on the effect
Traveling without moving. I have my work cut out for me, but my question is on the last Ace, I would like to do it the way Jack did it on his video, which is a little different than what is described in Genii. On his site Jacksdeck.com they call it the deluxe version. I have his book 52 Memories, but could not find the effect. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

I think the vanish of the last ace uses the black art principle. Either that or real magic. I can't imagine any other way...

Man, that made me sad to go to Jack's website. What a creative guy he was.

Well, as far as the trick, it certainly looks like a black-backed card to me. It's very easy to do these things for video because you just have to close down the iris slightly and the blacks just close up. Of course, if you've seen Henry Evans then you know you can use black-backed cards in regular performance, too.

Cliff Green used to do an Ace routine using black art. There's a photo of him performing it at a magic club meeting.
