Stunning New Dollar Designs

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Very cool, but NOT coming to a wallet or pocket near you.

While it's very likely all major world economies will eventually go "all electronic," it's equally likely that lighter-weight coins will replace paper notes before the former becomes reality. This, at least, according to what I've read on the subject.

By the way, I hate the brightly colored paper bills (whether the sizes vary or not), they look like cheap discount store coupons. The images of Washington, though, I thought were rather nice.

Many countries no longer have 1 dollar, 2 dollar, or five dollar bills. Just coins of those values. It saves money, but makes your damn pocket heavy. When I'm in the UK and have a bunch of 1 pound coins in my pocket, it feels like I have a second scrotum.

El Mystico here has one of those scrotum bags he uses to keep his coins in. It's very cool. Like a very soft leather.

Okay - who's gonna get one made up for a "Scotch coin bag" routine?

On a more practical note - seems a high risk for sexual harassment when used outside a pickup/bar situation.

Sexual harassment? You're joking. No one would even know what it was if you didn't tell them.

Richard Kaufman - "Sexual harassment? You're joking. No one would even know what it was if you didn't tell them."

Unless you don't have a table, and make the mistake of asking, "Madam, would you mind holding my scrotum for a moment."

Jonathan may have a point. ;)

Is there any reason to having one if you're not going to say what it is?

I am, of course, considering one to hold my Himber Balls.

One thing to remember about these purses: ONLY tell them what it is while it's in their hands.
