Penn on Green Room with Paul Provenza

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

I now have three new jokes to add to my little joke book, but I doubt I'll ever be in the correct company to tell the one Penn told.

The Green Room is the best show on TV right now, though I think that it might be over (at least for the season). Here's the thing: This episode wasn't even the best in the series (and it's great)!

Drew Carey tells the Iglesias joke way better than Penn (with a similar but better punch line; and it's shorter).

One forgets what a funny, funny man Martin Mull is until you see him in action and you are reminded. His retelling of the Fred Willard joke nearly made me wet my pants I was laughing so hard.

In the various shows I have seen Aye Jay and Andrew Goldenhersh in the audience.

i wish i had started watching it sooner.
i did watch one episode's beginning was
too tired to really watch all the way through.

i suppose i decided to watch this one because
those three were on it. and it got me interested
to at least watch it. and i already know how
funny tommy smothers is... as well as martin mull.
