Who is the man on the right?

Well, there was a time when I could name them all I thought but I cant Id the gent on the far right.



This shot came from around 1950 at a Chicago Hotel at a magic convention, perhaps the combined.

I posted this on Genii a few years back and we came up with Walter Graham but Bill Palmer pointed out to me that Graham wasnt old enough.

It's definetely not Edgar Bergen. Mortimer Snerd, maybe.

Sorry...the infamous "guy on the right" is definitely *not* Edgar Bergen. Bergen was much shorter (more Sid Lorraine's height) and at that period would never have been seen in public - much less allowed himself to be photographed - without his hairpiece.

He does look familiar, though.....

The guy on the far right is Dave Coleman.

Very cool. Coleman looks just like the guy on the right and I liked seeing the pics of Hen Fetsch too.

The award goes to David Ben alright. Ill be sending his prize to him soon. Actually its the prototype 1939 Sefalaljia set that I was going to send anyway.

Interesting to see that Coleman's unnamed "assistant" in the Life pictures was Milbourne Christopher.
