Hello all
I'm a newbie to this forum. Hope I'm not breaking etiquette by jumping straight in with a new post.
Currently I'm fascinated with chair predictions. Just bought "The Ultimate Chairs Prediction by Gary Kurtz. Love it, but I won't be performing it just yet as I feel I'll need more experience first.
After doing some research, I'm very keen to learn Paolo Cavalli's "Chairvelopes", from his "Omicron" manuscript. Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate it.
Does anyone know if Paolo Cavalli has a site for his products, or if anyone else stocks his products? So far I keep drawing a blank.
Any info would be much appreciated
Thanks
Paolo Cavalli

Have you ever seen the David Berglas Chair Prediction?

Re: Paolo Cavalli
No I've never seen it.
I've heard its excellent, but I've also read that his book "The Mind And Magic Of David Berglas" doesn't disclose the method. This won't prevent me buying the book as I've read great things about it, just need to save up some shekels first.

No, it does not explain the method to that effect. It's one of the things Berglas has kept to himself.

Paolo Cavalli is a regular poster to the Magic Cafe (this forum's "bastard cousin") where he goes by "the Lord of Horses." You can contact him directly about his products thru the Cafe (to which anyone can subscribe) -- just be prepared for the extremely high chaff to wheat ratio you'll encounter there.

While Dick is right about the 'extremely high chaff to wheat ratio you'll encounter there', Paolo is a really nice guy.
Anyhow, as Dick says try the Magic Cafe.

Re: Paolo Cavalli
I think the Chair Test is one of the most fascinating effects in mentalism. The Berglas version must be the best I've ever heard of so far (I've never seen it though, I've read it on the book by David Britland). The "I guess that's my chair!" bit is beautiful, as it is the moment when the sitting guests stare at the audience and the audience stares back at them, waiting for something to happen. Very surreal and funny.
Unfortunately I see too many performers relying on envelopes and nail writers which is fine if they present it well but errr...I find it confusing and for me it cheapens the effect a bit.

Yeah, it's OK, but would be better if the chairs vibrated. See sig.
