FS-Semi Auto, Stewart James, Card College, Invocation

Postby Darren Lawbuary » March 29th, 2010, 2:21 pm

Friends.

Scaling down the library, thus:

Semi Automatic Card Tricks 1-7. A couple of signed by Mr Beam to me: 100

Card College 1-5: 80

The James File 1,2 & Index, and The First 50 Years: 140

The Compleat Invocaton 1-3: 60

Annemann: 30

Stanyons Magic: 30

Constant Fooling 1&2, Close Up & Personal: 50

Would I be considered "locationist" if I suggested that, due to the size of these fine and mighty tomes, it would probably benefit potential buyers in the UK more than fellow magi globally? From a shipping point of view, naturally.
Photos are available on request.

I thank you in anticipation for your interest.

Peace,

Darren

In addition to this post, local collection would be ideal. I know I'm diminishing my possible market, but shipping costs may be high.
Thanks again.

I have disabled this seller's ability to send and receive PMs and removed his email from his profile. I will fix all this when the seller has posted his complete contatct information.

Thanks,

I think it's an inadvertant error because Darren has been selling off bits of his library here for many months.

Mostly on eBay, so no contact needed. A couple that weren't slipped through our cracks. Darren, please take care of this.

Thanks,
Dustin

Sorry, Dustin.
May I ask what I have done wrong, please?
I think you will find I have made an inadvertant error, not REALLY necessitating the drastic action announced to the world, surely?
Thank you, Richard, for noticing my forum activity, and not jumping on me from a great height.
So, Mr Stinett, what do I need to do for you to restore my details, please?
Thank you.
You have a nice day.

Dustin's tone is one of general annoyance because so many people don't follow the rules. So, you're just getting a bit of pent-up frustration in there.

It's cool: I knew you would add the information and there would be no problem.

Darren,

Richard nailed it. If you go through the "Announcements" forum, you will find numerous "reminders"--some friendly some not so friendly--from me that addresses the issue. It's become a sore spot for me here.

The disabling of the PM function and the deleting of the visible email is now my standard way of dealing with this. I wasn't treating you any differently than others who--whether by accident (like you) or from ignorance or plan (most)--don't follow a very simple rule that has been in place for quite some time now and is quite visible (it is rule #1 and can be seen when a new post is made).

Thanks for addressing the problem. I have restored everything in your profile. Good luck on your sale!

Best,
Dustin

I hope I won't upset forum moderators, but I have deicided to list a couple of these items on EBay.

EBay

Would mods please inform me if this is an unacceptable move, please?

Many thanks.
