Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

ADE-651 Phoney Bomb detectors

Postby Richard Stokes » February 17th, 2010, 6:52 am

Hard to believe someone could pull off this obscene scam in the modern era.
Selling expensive explosive detectors to countries like Iraq.
The pseudo-technology is no better than dowsing!
Jim McCormick, the filthy rich entrepreneur promoting this device, is an ex-copper.
(Always puzzled me why the British think they have the best police service in the world - but that's another topic!)
