Radio Magic

Postby Mike Seege » February 4th, 2010, 1:51 pm

Just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a good radio trick or two? I've been asked by a local station to come on for a few minutes. Thank you for your help.

Check out Juan Tamariz's latest book, Verbal Magic. The effects are designed specifically for hands-off effects, and culled from Juan's own radio broadcasts he does in Spain.

Here's a thread that was started here from 2002 about radio magic.

There's a brilliant chapter in Durham's Professional Secrets on radio effects...

In MATHEMATICAL WIZARDRY I teach my way of doing Hummer's 3-item mindreading thing. It's done without looking, and can be done without looking, etc., so it can be done over the telephone and, I assume, over the radio. HL.

Interesting to me that not one person has responded to my suggestion to check my no-looking Hummer's 3-item mindreading thing. No problem, but - interesting. HL.

I think those who haven't got the book are waiting for the reprint. and those who have the book are deliberately keeping very very quiet...

I think you're right, El Mystico. Problem is - if I don't get more people telling me that they'd be interested in purchasing a copy of MATHEMATICAL WIZARDRY when and if I re-print, I probably won't re-print. I did start a thread asking for those who would be interested to email to my personal email address. Got good reactions from other forums - nary a "bite" from this one. Anyway... HL.
