FS: RNT2 Cups and Ray Szwec Color Changing Knives

Postby James Kernen » November 21st, 2009, 9:55 am

Ray Szwec's Color Changing Knives:

All 3 sets are just a little over 3 inches and have a nice heavier weight to them.. I own a variety of Ray's knives and these are one of my favorite sizes since they are more like the size of a real pocket-knife set I would actually carry/use instead of many of the smaller changing knives sets that are out there.

These are the only sets in this size I will be offering.....

Prices include US Shipping..... International shipping is available for $12 to countries that allow me to ship knives to....

Set #1: - $95

I have a couple of chop cups for sale that are somewhat rare. These cups were actually part of the initial attempt to make the Mendoza Combo sets. 4-5 sets of these cups were and available as a triple combo set, but the design was discontinued, and the new Mendoza combo set that is now popular came out.

One of the problems of the initial Mendoza triple combo set (orginally called the JM1 cups), was that the attic space was too small since the cups stacked too deep. Another issue was the strength of the magnets.. They were too strong for the Mendoza move.

I previously tried to sell a couple of the JM1 sets without success probably due to the known issues of the 3 cup set mentioned above, and also because of the price... These were sold by RNT2 for $700 for the copper set slightly more for the chrome.....

The cups themselves are heavy cups.. they are both made of 065 double walled copper, and then one is chromed over that. They take a tennis ball for a final load.

I am currently offering these cups for sale as single chop cups. I have three of each type pictured below.. The copper cups have a nice patina started, and all cups are in excellent condtion.

Single chromed JM1 cups are available for $175 each
Single copper JMI cups are available for $125 each

In this list, I have 2 popular and sought after sets from the original RNT2's Delrin era....

The first set is the Patriotic set, which is pretty rare (I believe only 3 sets were made), and comes with the even rarer red, white, and blue ball set (the only one of the 3 sets to have the tri-colored balls).... The size of the cups are foxy ones and they hold a golf ball for a final load. This set is made of Delrin.....

The price is $325 for the Patriotic set with the tri-color balls.

Here are pictures of the actual set.

The next set I have available is an El Royale set from the original RNT2. These are also made of Delrin, and take a golf ball for a final load.... This set seems to be the most popular of the delrin and sets with only a handful of sets made.

This set is also for sale for $325 shipped anywhere in the world. It comes with the bag and balls as pictured.

Here are pictures of the El Royale:

As aa result of a recent trade, I now have 2 of the Patriotic beauty sets... I have the original one with the red, white and blue balls, and now I have another set available with a set of red RNT2 balls. Again, this is supposed to be a pretty rare combination with the only other set I know about in Bill's museum....

So, I have the Patriotic set with the tri-colored balls and the El Royale set available for $325 each

or

I have the other Patriotic set with red balls available for $300
