Penumbra: Issue Eleven

Postby Dustin Stinett » December 12th, 2009, 3:20 pm

This dreary rain-soaked day here in SoCal has been brightened by the arrival of Issue Eleven of Penumbra late this morning. I have been playing with the Michael Weber effect ever since (thank goodness I put in my time on the Diagonal Palm Shift). There are also items from Ron Wohl, Raj Madhok and Gregory Wilson, Raj again (all by his onesies), Bill Kalush, and Gordon Bean (who I expect wishes he was only seeing rain right now).

It may have taken some time getting here, but the Weber piece alone makes it worth the wait (and price).

What a pleasant surprise. As one of the guys somewhat critical in the past my hat goes off to Bill Goodwin for stepping up to the plate.......and delivering!

Great issue! (I think all the naysayers who were disparaging Bill and Gordon on the various boards owe them an big apology. They really came through with this one!)

It took a long time to get here but they had the integrity to maintain high quality. I'm sure they could have easily thrown material together to fill the remaining issues. The next issue might take just as long and I'm fine with that if it's just as good.

Dustin is right, the Michael Weber idea is most excellent.

I wish you guys would stop talking about the Weber routine! (Nothing to see here...Nothing to see here. . .)

Penumbra showed up in DC today. A great issue.

I believe the Penumbra hotel is a timeless place, kind of like The Overlook. No mention of any delay since the last issue!

I believe there is one reference to the delay.

Does anyone know if a Penumbra 12 is in the works? My subscription was up with number 11.

Thanks,

Larry

You should write to Bill Goodwin and ask him. I believe you'll find his contact information in issue 11.
