Signed Deck for Charity

Postby David Acer » June 8th, 2007, 3:10 pm

Five ambitious U.K. magicians (Graeme Smith, Paul Lewcock, Andy Brinkworth, Tony Youens and Jack Kertchly) have spearheaded an interesting project for charity in which 59 well-known (some downright famous) magicians were each asked to sign a different, red-backed Bicycle playing card, ultimately forming an entire deck, plus 2 jokers, the poker-rules card and 4 blank extras. The deck will soon be auctioned off for the Make-A-Wish foundation, most likely on Ebay. You can see the cards and the impressive list of magicians who signed them (e.g., Penn & Teller, James Randi, Michael Ammar, Cyril, Martin Gardner, Lance Burton, etc) at www.billymccoy.co.uk
