There is a new kids convention taking place in Washington DC in January 2010. Here is the link:

I have been invited to lecture. It should be fun, and I hope to see some of you there! JR

Re: New Kids Convention
The Schedule is now up on the website.

It looks like a lot of fun stuff is being crammed into 3 days. Take note that if you want to register, you get a reduced rate if you do so by the end of August. JR

Re: New Kids Convention
As the date for the Kapital Kidvention in Washington DC is rapidly approaching, I have news hot off the press that it is almost sold out. James Munton and myself, who are both active members of this forum as well as being of British heritage, will each be lecturing. I urge any children's entertainers who have not yet registered to do so very soon, or it will be too late. JR

Re: New Kids Convention
If you are planning to attend, make sure you extend your stay through Saturday so that you and your family can come to see my show at the Spy Museum. Kidvention attendees receive a discount.
There is a strong rumor that Mark Lewis will be attending the Kidvention and will be hosting a special late-night lecture on the Fogel method of getting volunteers.
Best,
James

Re: New Kids Convention
I am a little surprised that Mark has not been invited to lecture. I wonder if this has anything to do with his(completely unfounded) reputation he has as a trouble maker. I think he should attend, and show us all how his rehearsals are going for the wonderful choo choo train effect. JR

Re: New Kids Convention
I am in a great state of confusion over the choo-choo matter. It is the word "sweet" that is bothering me. Does it sound like a train sound or not? I keep changing my mind over the matter.
