Frank, there's no reserve listed on the auction. Just a heads up.

Mr. V, you need to end that auction and relist it with your reserve. You can't just write the reserve in the description, that is against Ebay policy. Just trying to help you avoid a bad outcome.

I would concur. At the moment, if no one else bids before the end, you would be legally bound to sell it for 99 dollars. If you only want 400 dollars for it, relist it as a Buy It Now at that cost, and you won't have the reserve fee.

At the moment, things could get messy for you.

Take care, Ian

It was a mistake on my part. I thought I used the reserve feature on the listing for $400.00. Oh well.....Thanks for the heads up!

Are the gaffs essentially the same as what is in a standard "3 Fly" set (slippery sam and 3 coins)? (I realize that Joe Porper work is better than "standard").

Hi Bill

This is not the standard 3 Fly set. It is a spin off of the standard 3 fly but goes WAY beyond. You have to see the set to believe the work and craftmanship. Paul definitely was thinking outside of the box on this one. Joe's work can be defined as a master craftman when you look at these coins!

I'm still don't understand the differences between this set and a standard 3-Fly gaff set (Slippery Sam plus 3 coins). Your response only talks about the craftsmanship of the Porper set (which I don't doubt in the least).

Could I use the 3-Fly gaff set I have (an early Kohler, before Lassen started putting teflon in), and Wilson's routine to do the effect? Or is there something different about the gaff set that is necessary? That's all I'm asking.

I believe the gimmick allows three coins to appear as one (all nest magnetically). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Richard/Bill

Thanks for your inquiries.

Richard, you are essntially correct but obviously I cannot divulge any more information regarding this ingenious set of coins. I believe the owners of this set would this to be underground as well. Paul's routining is superb and takes tis effect to a whole new level.

There are only 2 1/2 days left in the auction, so don't wait and let this beauty pass you by!

Thx
Frank

Bill

You could use the a 3-Fly gaff set like an early Kohler set and do the Wilson's routine as well. There is also something different about the gaff set that is necessary as well. I really can't say much more without revealing the secret of the coins. Believe me, the set is amazing and Paul provides an excellent training DVD to teach you the routine.

Thanks!
