Derek Acorah

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

"He is a horrible little charlatan"

I'll second that!

The show is already available on the Internet, and I watched just a few minutes for the heck of it. It is pretty bad. Although I was mildly entertained in one bit where he was 'reading' a dog (a spaniel of some type, I think) called Jago.

Everytime you mention Derek Acorah God kills a puppy.

I cannot stand him. The only time I found him amusing was the 'Mary loves Dick' clip.

It's so interesting how he can connect with spirits so quickly isn't it? How does he make it look so realistic? *note sarcasm*

We have a saying about him over here in Britain "Derek Acorah has been entered more times than a porn star." ;-)

What next, snogging and 'more' while possessed?

Please don't give Living TV anymore ideas as we already have to tolerate all of this...

It's scary what some people call 'entertainment'. Kerry Katona and Paris Hilton are living proof of this.

Oh come on - how about a contest where "real" channelers and one contestant get to see who a celebrity panel believes more - or a gong-show for those who interact with with deceased entertainers?

How about some chat shows where the long gone get to debate issues?

You mean like Jeremy Kyle with ghosts?

We'd have to track down some deceased chavs first.

Just in case anyone doesn't know what a 'chav' is...

American here so I had to look for his show.

Sure - with some Jerry Springer moments too please since Jerry does not pretend to be there to help people but just to get their dialog started.

Dr Phil for and with the deceased?
