Fly Stick Van De Graff Levitation Wand - almost like magic!
You can hide the wand in your sleeves and do it the magic way...

After I saw the video above I purchased one and received it today (Fastest shipping from the U.S. ever.)
In two minutes I was doing what the guy in the video was doing. There is a small motor inside, but it's not as loud as I thought it would. A little music might cover it.
I definitely see me using this soon.

I think if the King of levitations - Losander get the hands of this prop he would probably design a true magic routine that magicians could use in a good way.

For magical purposes the item lacks a perceived weight. Kinda like a dandelion seed - kids know about that.

Why the fussing over a child's toy? Perhaps to get a job demonstrating the thing at the mall? Best of luck.

You are correct Jonathan. The items that come with it are very lightweight and look it. But even then it is very cool to look at and even cooler to use. I'm sure there is some way around this. I suppose I'll be hanging out with my friends trial and error again.

Perhaps as neutronium and with a thumper for sound effects whenever it touches down?
Mundus vult decipi -per Caleb Carr's story Killing Time
