KEITH BARRY BARRED FROM CASINOS

Postby Magic Newswire » January 29th, 2009, 1:14 pm

According to the Irish Herald, Keith Barry has been barred from gambling in all Las Vegas Casinos. According to Barry "Eventually she called the pit boss over, who studied my game pattern and asked me to leave the table and said to me, 'We'd rather not have your company tonight Mr Barry'. The next thing I know a few of the other casinos had sent out representatives to watch my show, where part of my act was to memorise a deck of cards in 20 seconds and that was that, I was banned from all the casinos." I guess Keith will need to keep his pants on if he doesn't want to be barred from any more casinos... ;)

Use of the word "tonight" does not imply banned. Maybe they thought he was counting cards at blackjack. If they do ban him, he better obey. If you disobey a banning the casino will have the local "police" department arrest you for trespassing.

Banning him is a bit harsh....if they didnt want his company, they could of just walked out like mr A did.

Most magicians who've worked cruise ships can claim the same thing. Every ship I've worked on, and I've done some of the best and some of the worst, has banned entertainers from playing the casino.

Congratulations to Keith for getting a nice promo piece.
