I moved to Portland a few months ago. I emailed the
local S.A.M. club several times (using their web site) but have
received no replies.

Is there anything going on here?

Hi John,
Welcome to Portland! We don't have a club meeting in December.

A few of us have been getting together at the McMenamin's on Broadway (1504 N.E. Broadway) for a beer and session; we'll be there next Thursday the 18th at 8PM. You would be more than welcome to join in.

The next SAM event is on the 18th of January when we'll have our Annual Banquet and Stage show. The details are on the site.

The next meeting should be on the 28th of January.
