"The Long Beach Mystics" DVD

Postby Michel Andenmatten » January 15th, 2009, 11:57 am

"The Long Beach Mystics" DVD is another excellent documentary (next to the ones on Max Maven and Jerry Andrus) which I have only been able to pick up because it was brought to my attention in Genii.

Watching and listening to the Mystics made me long for awhile I had been living in a different place and time.

And then there was Coin Menagerie.

I am still stunned.

Jonathan, have a look at http://mysticsdvd.com/

By the way, this has also been reviewed by Dustin Stinett. I missed it when it first got published and only became aware of Dustin's recommendation while re-reading last year's Genii magazines over Christmas.

Hopefully, there will be many more such enjoyable documentaries.

Most of the people listed as interview subjects came from the second incarnation of the Mystics. The only original Mystic on that list is James Hamilton.
