It is refreshing to see some positive articles in the news. Nice little interview and great eyecatching background in the photo. David, congrats - you've earned the good press.
This is a good example for those crying about the current econnomic situation. If you have worked hard to develop a set of marketable skills, there are always roads of opportunities awaiting those with the skill set.
Magic could use more such positive role models and news clips.

I concur with Mr. Riser above - times are not easy, but this is still America and there is opportunity out there. I'm paying my mortgage (on a house we built just last year) and supporting my family as sole breadwinner... by doing card tricks, for crying out loud.
Stories like the one about David Alexander -- and comments like those from Mr. Riser -- motivate me to get off the couch and get back to work!
