Scary or Not, Here He Comes: Bryant on MUM Cover

Postby Dustin Stinett » September 30th, 2008, 3:12 am

I dont know if its the Scary Surprise Im waiting for from Steve BryantI suspect it may not be and something more terrifying awaitsbut Genii contributor, Genii Forum regular, author of three fine books, the Keeper of Little Egypt Magic, and a guy Im happy to call a friend is on the cover of the October issue of MUM. Those who know Steve will realize just how appropriate being on Octobers cover is in his case. Congratulations Steve!

In the face of all the bad news coming from the real world, this long overdue tribute to one of the all-around nicest guys in magic makes for a great antidote.

And as all of us who know him would agree, Steve's much better looking in person!

Absolutely one of magic's nicest people!

... and his taste in music and musicians is almost quite good.

Congratulations Steve on a well deserved recognition.

Now that I have had the opportunity to read the article on Steve (penned by Jon Racherbaumer), I can say that all the praise being heaped upon Steve is well deserved. And if you want one of those basketball jack-o-lanterns as seen on the cover, good luck; its a true one-of-kind item.

Steves Scary Surprise is revealed within the piece as well as in a full-page H&R Books ad in the magazine. I still dont want to steal Steves thunder here (he only alludes to it on his current site), but I will say that he now has four books to his credit!

Just received the October M-U-M and Steve looks great on the cover, if a bit orange. Who's the guy on the right?

Steve's new book, THE LITTLE EGYPT BOOK OF GHOSTS, just arrived from the printer today and looks great. All the pre-publication orders have now been filled and those of you who pre-ordered should be getting your copies in a few days domestically and in a week or so internationally. Thanks for your patience on this one, and congratulations, Steve, the book looks great!

I got mine the other week, and it is a great book. Lots of fun material in it. Thanks for sending it so quickly, Richard.
