Actually his work on the religious zealotry of AGW in the series [censored]! was excellent.
Re: Penn Jillette Political Commentary on cnn.com
As much as I agree that politics is important, and that there's good reason to get involved this Autumn, I'd really like to lobby for keeping the discussion here isolated to one or two particular forums. I rely on Genii and the forums to be a respite from the constant bombardment of "my candidate can whip your candidate" we get everywhere else these days. And for some reason, when I go to CNN.com to talk about packet tricks, they don't seem interested.

Agreed, that one was decent. But some of his other [censored] episodes were lazy minded [censored]. Like this piece.Cugel wrote:

I know I'm opening myself up for something here, but ...
I agree with everything he said except for the very last line.
Not that this Canadian has a say in American politics.

Re: Penn Jillette Political Commentary on cnn.com
Despite the fact that this thread was started by the Chief Genii, I'm going to lock it, due to the fact that this could very quickly and easily fall into an ugly discussion of politics. DrDanny has correctly pointed out that politics have no place here. There's really only two reasons I'm not deleting the thread entirely:
1. Richard started it!
2. It is a commentary from a magician.
Richard can always re-open it if he wants to allow the discussion to continue.

I agree with Jim's decision. My mistake was in posting it and leaving the topic open afterward. I just wanted to bring it to people's attention.
So, that said, topic now closed again.
Thanks, Jim.
