I have just posted my index of stage illusions which I have actually spent quite of bit of time compiling and categorizing. It is nice as it has links to the actual PDF files and no need to go the US Patent Office Site etc. so hopefully you will enjoy this resource. It also has the inventor, year, and a description of the patent for easy identification.

It does require you to register and have an upgraded account since this is in the Magic Secrets area of the site. If you register and put "Genii" in the registration code box, I will upgrade you. This is a manual process so there will be some time between registration and when you'll be upgraded. Sorry I don't have an automated script for this yet.
One more thing, once you have registered and given a reasonable amount of time for the upgrade to happen, go to Articles in the left Menu. If you see "Magic Secrets" as one of the options, you have the correct access. Select "Magic Secrets" and then "Patents"

Just to update this thread a bit since I still get some questions on this point. You can no longer register with the "Genii" code as indicated above. The upgrade process has changed but still easy and explained here:
